a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips while she let herself fall against him for a moment. "on occasion." she has, and will always care. "that's good"

ᅠᅠ Cue another punch on the shoulder , she huffed. “ Yeah yeah. ” ᅠᅠ

"it is quite the change, but you'll do great." with the last knife finished and the pack now set aside, she folded her hands in her lap and leaned back. "you are taking enough breaks, right? caring for yourself?"

"i like keeping you on your toes" she spins a finished one between her fingers and points it his way before it gets tucked away in the pack. "i am, i guess. teaching is surprisingly enjoyable .. are you doing well?"

"if i was going to do something, i would've by now, zuko." her gaze peels off of him the moment he sits down, focusing it back on her precious collection.

she barely looks up from her work, tilting her head off to the side to look at him. "you can sit next to me, if you want .. no need to be creepy." it's meant as a lighthearted tease
