The CoinDCX case is a reminder that impersonation scams don't need advanced tooling to cause serious damage. According to the report, the victim was pushed through a fake ecosystem built around a spoofed domain, TG channels and social media accs that mimicked CoinDCX. The alleged fraud involved promises of 10% to 12% monthly returns and eventually escalated into legal action before it was identified as an impersonation case.
