I love JetBrains and loved working on IDEA but things are different now. Most of my time now is spent talking to an LLM and if the code quality is important (open source) I review the code. Because of this, anything that is not instant is a bottleneck to my output. Ie build times, ide loading times, run speed. I want instant. Anything else is out of my toolset. So yeah. Make IDE ultra fast is my no1 and only request, cause other than that it's perfect.

Would you be interested if JetBrains releases a totally local AI agent, working 100% on your laptop, using our code insight engine and deeply integrated into the IDE? Yes, it will be probably 1 month behind the very recent frontier models, but no token blood bath anymore WDYT?

I had a pretty terrible day yesterday with MacOS hanging dozen of times with ENFILE / FD-exhaustion 😭. Turns out there is a bug in latest claude code, downgrading to a previous versions should solves it!!
