I was saddened to hear of the passing of two strong Republican women this weekend: Evie Axdahl & Sarah Janecek. I had great respect for Sarah's talents & while many looked at Evie as a sort of MN Republican grandmother, she one of the most effective activists I ever worked with.

Rod Grams was a true populist. Never a follower of special interests, he was a old school herald of the grassroots.

So sad to hear of the passing of Senator Rod Grams. He was a good man and a dedicated public servant. He will be missed greatly.
