When I was still trying to find somewhere to live after I moved, it was @SmugAlana's streams that were one of the very few bright spots during those months where I wasn't sure of myself, where I would go, or what I would do. I always looked forward the moment when she would go live because, for a few hours at least, I could forget about all of the uncertainty and fear that I was going through and just enjoy a beautiful fox girl who was incredibly sweet, yet wonderful brash and unashamedly in your face. @SmugAlana was my direct inspiration for taking the plunge into becoming a Vtuber. All those months I watched and chatted in her streams, she made it possible for me do something I struggled with for so much of my life... believe in myself and take a chance. It is because of her inspiring me that I became a Vtuber and have even been able to find some continued and building success with it. For that, I will always be grateful that I stumbled upon that beautiful, sweet, and brash frost-fire fox girl. Alana, I don't know what you're going through right now, all I know is you're in pain. I so wish I could do something, anything, to try and ease that pain even a little bit. Please take as much time as you need to get through whatever heartbreak is happening in your life right now. Your Smugglers will be there waiting with love when you are ready to come back, and just know that I and all of my Strays are sending you all the love we can.

@Blaise_Corvin I remember going to my Halo 3 midnight launch. Oh, everyone was holding their special Halo 3 Mountain Dews and Doritos bags. The cheering for the first guy in line as he got his copy and beelined for the exit. Good times.

I did this. I also got the midnight launch of Diablo 3 and even won some of the retail promotional stuff. They did a drawing. The nostalgia of this stuff is almost painful. Convenience has really robbed us, collectively, of some of these amazing moments.

@Ganglosaxonnne You know how General Grievous' design was based on a spray bottle head? I'm pretty sure the Imp was based on a #2 pencil eraser.

The Imp is a 100T assault mech devised by Nicholas Kerensky to be a new flagship mech for what would become the Clans. Effectively the first Totem Mech, it is as ugly as the soul of the man who designed it. Tellingly, Nicky never drove his own creation. 1/ 5🧵#battletech

@Ganglosaxonnne There are two things I've learned while reading about military history: Never fight the Finns in the snow. Never fight the Gurkhas in the jungle. They prove size matters not, skill wins every time.

The men of the Gurkha Rifles are tiny compared to most other fighting men. And they are among the hardest combat troops you can find, stacking bodies like demons in every conflict they find themselves in

@Ganglosaxonnne I'm scratching my head on this, too. If anyone deserves their own movie, it's the Starfox team. Though I'd prefer a multi-episode anime to let the story breathe.
