@TheRealAibretty @klug_alters Interesting! I think it only came up in 1, maybe 2 games so it didn't feel like an issue to me. Maybe there's just some correlation happening here.

Had such a blast at @CubeConOfficial. My goal was to win one trophy and I'm thrilled to add three to my collection! Thanks to the Baltimore crew, all my opponents, the cube designers, judges, and staff for making the event great.

@BomattCourier @CubeConOfficial The previous two years we took a van from Baltimore. It was fun but also a lot. This year we flew to Chicago and got a van from there which was probably easier overall, but flying with a bunch of Cubes is kinda rough.

@ahmattox @CubeConOfficial let's talk logistics. Did y'all rent a van? Would you do it again?

@Cryonicity @klug_alters @TheRealAibretty Depending on context, maybe agressive cards that also generate value like Kitzil, Malamet Exemplar, Torrens, or Sovereign Okinec Ahau? I always love playing with Qasali Pridemage

@Cryonicity Sorry it's tricky to explain! The "has been activated" state will never be copied. We're on the same page there. But if the same mirror (the same game object) becomes porridge twice. Does it remember that state between those times when it was not continuously porridge?

@ahmattox I always thought copying was just copying card text. But maybe I am wrong? I checked all the CR sections for modal and copying and nothing is explicitly saying an answer.

Magic makes you ask difficult questions like: "If my mirror becomes porridge for a second time, does it remember what it did last time it was porridge?" For real though, I need to know this.

@Cryonicity That makes sense. But I mean if you copy the porridge with the mirror, activate one of the porridge's abilities with the mirror, then next turn copy the porridge again, can you activate the same ability with the mirror?

@ahmattox Nah it won't know. It doesnt self reference on the card text so even if you used 2 modes on porridge then copy with mirror. Mirror will not have chosen any modes since the new text on mirror is self referring and not referring to anything else. Kinda like playtest cards use ~

@FanboySingleton This implies it wouldn't remember being porridge and you could re-use the same ability? Magic is so complicated!

@FrankAboveAll It definitely doesn't remember if it leaves and returns to the battlefield, but I could believe if it's been on the battlefield the whole time it's still the same object even though it's been copies of different cards
