@worqas You are just trying to be relevant by posting an inflammatory comment. Be a man set up a podcast with Ghamidi and take him on intellectually face to face. It is ‘cowardly’ to post a lazy comment humiliating a towering figure from behind the safety of a screen.

Ghamidi, as it has turned out over the past few years, is intellectually dishonest and morally cowardly.

I am Emirati, and that is a source of pride, because I belong to a leadership that has made wisdom a force, steadfastness a stature, and the nation’s interest a path that never bends. I am Emirati, and that is a source of pride, because our armed forces are a fortified shield, a true sword, and men who have made readiness a creed, sacrifice an honor, and the protection of our land and sky a covenant that never changes. I am Emirati, and that is a source of pride, because the UAE community is a unique model of unity, solidarity, and noble values, where citizens and residents come together in respect for the nation, dedication to its service, and pride in its flag. I am Emirati, and that is a source of pride, because my country, when it speaks, is heard, when it moves, it makes an impact, and when it faces challenges, it rises in strength and stature. I am Emirati, and that is a source of pride, because the UAE is defined by an inspiring leadership, armed forces that deter, and a society that grows prouder and more united with every challenge. #UAE #UAE_Armed_Forces

Who remembers that “Qarz utaro, mulk samwaro” scheme of the 90s? Now is the time to do it right. And that means the rich politicians in charge need to put in a few million themselves first. Lead by example. And others will follow. There’s enough money to retire this debt once and for all. Just needs to be channeled right.

@ayeshaijazkhan Why would a sane overseas Pakistanis want to bring all their hard earned wealth to a shithole from which they escaped. No desire to have dollars converted into a rubbish currency and then lose most of it to taxes , red tape and inflation

Are taxes on property really that high? Why do they need to cut the tax? Don’t they need revenue? That money is set to come back — not just from Middle East — but eventually from the West too. No place like home.

Pakistan plans to lure back overseas real estate investment! The government plans to cut taxes on the property sector and lure Middle East conflict-affected overseas Pakistanis to bring back their money without fear of harassment, aiming to encash the opportunity to boost the struggling sector. tribune.com.pk/story/2599683/…

@miqazi So ? Pakistanis who made money abroad through hard work and legal means and invested abroad have no moral obligation to bring it to shithole from which they escaped.

Imran Khan’s son sitting at UN complaining about their father’s incarceration and blasphemy laws in Pakistan, turning it into some human rights issue worthy of punishment that would harm Pakistan’s economic interests is no different from Pahlavi diaspora advocating war on Iran at the UN because women are forced to wear hijab in Iran.

Dubai, Dubai. UAE, UAE. Take a chill pill. Dubai is beautiful and stable. The UAE is strong and safe. The UAE has a strong government, advanced security and defense capabilities, and full readiness to confront any threats. The safety of citizens, residents, and visitors remains a non-negotiable priority. The UAE reserves its full right to respond to any escalation and to take all necessary measures to protect its territory, its people, and all residents, while safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and national interests.
