LNG supplies to industrial & commercial consumers connected on grid is at 80% of their avg consumption. Commercial LPG, including restaurants is at 70% of peak. In the case of LPG, supply has now increased after falling earlier. For both piped gas (via LNG) and LPG petrol/diesel, domestic supply is largely under control though panic buying can distort retail inventories. All of this is not ideal and is hurting industries/economy. But to the credit of India's oil majors it could have been worse at this point.

Total number of Pakistan flagged vessels on sea is around 20. PNSC has only 12. There is no way every Pakistani flagged vessel in existence is on Hormuz. This is propaganda for locals by Ishaq Dar. Bloomberg obviously carries it without applying a single grey cell to it.

There is an argument that India must mediate in the Iran war. But why? The debate in India began because Pakistan took the initiative to mediate. So those demanding Indian mediation are basically saying: "If Pakistan can, why not us?" At best, that is FOMO. At worst, its jealousy of a smaller neighbour attracting the kind of attention some in our strategic community believe India deserves. But neither FOMO nor jealousy is a sound basis for good foreign policy.

At last, we have new 12 m e-buses in the Janmarg system. Thanks @AmdavadAMC for taking action to address the critical shortage of BRT buses. Let’s keep expanding the fleet until we reach the target of 5,000 buses in Ahmedabad.
