@heyshrutimishra It’s a sharp piece of social commentary. It mocks the "moving goalposts" of AGI predictions while using a design language that evokes a time when technology felt much simpler

Image Gen 2 is incredible. 🔥 Prompt below: { "prompt": { "scene": "A hyper-realistic Windows XP desktop screenshot filling the entire frame, formatted as a 16:9 X (Twitter) banner. In the center, a classic Windows XP dialog box with beveled edges and Tahoma font reads 'Installing AGI...'. A progress bar is frozen at exactly 97%, with bright green fill against a grey bar. Below it, the text reads 'Estimated time remaining: 2 years'. A slightly crumpled yellow sticky note overlaps the top-right corner of the dialog box with handwritten text 'Est. 2022'.", "background": "The iconic Windows XP Bliss wallpaper (green hill), but the sky is replaced with a horizontal timeline labeled 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, each year clearly crossed out with bold red X marks.", "character": { "type": "female", "description": "A tired-looking woman in her early 30s with a messy bun and slightly greying strands, subtle under-eye circles, and a deadpan expression. She is wearing a black turtleneck, standing casually with a slight slouch beside the dialog box, looking at the progress bar, and holding a white coffee mug that reads 'any day now'." }, "taskbar": "Classic Windows XP taskbar at the bottom with Start button visible, system tray icons present, and time displayed as 11:59 PM.", "style": "Hyper-realistic UI screenshot mixed with subtle editorial cartoon character, authentic Windows XP design system with pixel-perfect details, beveled edges, gradients, shadows, and Tahoma font. Soft CRT monitor glow with slight bloom and faint dust/noise on screen. Dark room edges subtly visible around the monitor. Early-2000s muted color palette.", "mood": "Deadpan corporate humor, nostalgic, quietly ironic", "aspect_ratio": "16:9", "lighting": "Soft monitor glow with slight CRT bloom, dim ambient surroundings", "details": [ "Progress bar must show exactly 97%", "Windows XP UI must be pixel-perfect and authentic", "All years from 2022 to 2026 must be visibly crossed out", "Coffee mug text must be clearly readable", "Sticky note should appear slightly crumpled and aged" ] } }

This should be headline news EVERYWHERE. A Pfizer insider who was former head of toxicology in Europe has just come out and said something that many "conspiracy theorists" suspected. He estimates that 20 000 to 60 000 people in Germany have died from the c*vid vaccine. This was said at a parliamentary enquiry commission in Germany. So why isn't this massive news being reported everywhere? Is the mainstream media that has recieved millions in funding from Bill Gates deliberately covering this up... 🤔

@heyshrutimishra Google has not open-sourced the full flagship "Gemini 3" models (Pro or Ultra). Those remain proprietary APIs

Google just changed the entire AI game While everyone was distracted by funding rounds and model benchmarks, Google made a move so strategic that it makes every other AI company's approach look like they're playing checkers while Google's playing 4D chess. Gemma 4 dropped yesterday. #3 open model in the world. Runs on your laptop. Apache 2.0 license. Zero restrictions & completely free. This isn't just another model release. This is Google rewriting the rules of how AI gets built. For two years, the AI narrative has been: frontier models require massive capital, proprietary infrastructure, and closed development. You pay for access. You pay for compute. You pay for deployment. The model is the product. Google just flipped the entire paradigm > they took the research powering Gemini 3 and released it as open source. > surpasses Claude 3 Haiku. s models with 20x more parameters. >beats GPT-3.5 Turbo. >surpasses Claude 3 Haiku. > destroys Llama 2 70B. > runs completely offline on a MacBook Pro. your phone is about to have frontier-class AI running entirely offline. Apache 2.0 license means you can download it, fine-tune it, deploy it commercially, build billion-dollar companies on it. No usage limits or revenue sharing. You own everything. While the industry debates monetization strategies, Google already solved it. They make $295 billion/year in ad revenue. They don't need to charge for models. They need something else entirely: ecosystem dominance. This is the Android playbook at scale. Google didn't make money selling Android. They made money from 3 billion people locked into Google Search, Google Play, and Google's advertising network. Gemma 4 is the same strategy. Give away the model. Own the ecosystem. Own the infrastructure. Own the future of AI development. The 400 million Gemma downloads prove it's working. Yale using it for cancer research. INSAIT building the first Bulgarian frontier model. Countries achieving digital sovereignty. Every developer building on Gemma is a validation that open beats closed. Gemma 4 has function calling, structured JSON output, 256K context windows, vision and audio processing. Every capability that used to require expensive cloud APIs now runs locally. The AI landscape just split into two paths. Path one: pay-per-use models behind APIs, vendor lock-in, terms that change overnight. Path two: open models you own, running on hardware you control, with capabilities matching frontier alternatives. Google just made path two viable at frontier-class performance. For the first time, developers don't have to choose between intelligence and ownership. They can have both. This isn't about one model release. This is about the entire AI development paradigm shifting. The future isn't about who has the best proprietary model. It's about who built the infrastructure that every AI application runs on. Google won that war before anyone else realized it was happening. They gave away the thing others are trying to monetize, and captured something worth infinitely more: the future of how AI gets built.

LinkedIn is silently scanning 509 browser extensions every time you visit. Not your posts. Not your DMs but your EXTENSIONS. Every time you visit linkedin. com, hidden JavaScript silently scans your browser for installed extensions. Zero disclosure in the privacy policy. This isn't about ad blockers. LinkedIn is scanning for: • 509 job search extensions (revealing you're looking for work to your current employer) • Religious extensions (Muslim prayer times, Torah readers) • Disability aids (ADHD focus tools, dyslexia helpers) • Political extensions (anti-woke, anti-zionist tags) • Competitor sales tools (Apollo, Lusha, ZoomInfo) • VPNs and privacy tools LinkedIn knows your name, employer, and job title. Every detected extension is matched to YOU as an identified individual. Because they know where you work, they can map which companies use which competitor products. They're extracting customer lists of thousands of rival software companies directly from users' browsers. The numbers: 2024: 461 extensions scanned February 2026: 6,222 extensions scanned That's a 13x expansion in less than 2 years. The timing? Perfect. September 2023: EU designates LinkedIn as a "gatekeeper" under the Digital Markets Act, requiring them to open up to third-party tools. LinkedIn's response: Build a massive surveillance system to hunt down and punish users of those exact tools. The EU said "let competitors in." LinkedIn said "we'll spy on everyone who uses them." Data is sent to third parties: HUMAN Security (US-Israeli cybersecurity firm) + Google tracking network. LinkedIn has already weaponized this data, sending enforcement threats to users of third-party tools based on evidence obtained through covert browser scanning. This violates: • EU Digital Markets Act • GDPR (processing special category data without consent) • Basic trust Source: BrowserGate. eu investigation by Fairlinked e.V. You can check which of YOUR extensions are being scanned: Install the "Extension Scanner - BrowserGate" Chrome extension. This is what "free" platforms actually cost you. Stories like this don't show up in your feed by accident. I scan 100+ AI and privacy sources every day and filter for the ones that will change how you think about tech.
