Do you ever have a daydream? I do. Mine is the day Angelina Jolie’s six children sit down and finally set the record straight. They’ve been telling us their side for years…just not all at once. They tell it in the way they’ve dropped Brad Pitt’s name. They tell it in how they speak in public, how they never mention him but consistently glorify her. They tell it every time they’re seen out with her…which is often…and never with him. The world keeps trying to gloss over what they’ve shown us. People say, “they should just forgive him.” Maybe they would have. Except he’s continued, through legal actions and PR, to go after their mother. They see that. They live that. He continues to try to silence her, to take from her, to tear down the woman who is their hero. Maybe if he had truly tried to redeem himself…if he had been kind, supportive, gracious…the way she has been…maybe things would look different today. But I daydream about the day the record is finally set straight. When all the Brad Pitt apologists have to sit with what they got wrong. Angelina Jolie didn’t alienate her children. She protected them. And Brad Pitt is nothing more than an egotistical, abusive, entitled, once-upon-a-time pretty boy. Maybe he’s a good actor. But he’s certainly not a good father or a good husband. #AngelinaJolie #BradPitt #BradPittIsAnAbuser
