Blockchain development is expensive. The consensus core of a Layer-1 usually demands senior engineers, academic advisors, and a real budget. We fixed a genuine performance bottleneck in that core without large resources — as a collaboration between one human and one AI (Claude / Anthropic). The problem: in our DAG-based L1 (GHOSTDAG consensus), the "anticone" computation was O(n³). The standard reference method didn't fit our DAG architecture; it undercounted the anticone. A 2000-round fuzz test caught it: true value 23, reference method reported 18. The fix: our own coloring (mavi_boncuk) defines the anticone by exact pairwise unrelatedness — independent of where the chain walk halts, and correct. Our reachability structure (torba) compresses the ancestry set; across 25M blocks its average size held constant at ~1.0. Result: O(n³) → near-linear. What took ~46s for 200 blocks became instant; 10M blocks processed at a stable ~5000 blocks/sec (incl. signature verification + structural validation + GHOSTDAG; excl. disk/network). The point isn't the result — near-linear coloring isn't a new invention. It's that a founder with no formal Rust or distributed-systems background solved this with an AI, no specialist on the team. A concrete example of AI lowering the cost barrier in an expensive field. Honestly: still testnet, not yet audited. "Solved without a specialist" doesn't mean one is unnecessary — it's the argument for independent audit. No token sale, no presale. Hey @thePodKAS, thanks for reaching out — and for the kind words on the audit! Quick honest framing first: AIDAG-Chain is a solo-built project currently in testnet. I'd rather show working code than make big claims, so here's the real state of things. What it is: a Layer-1 DAG blockchain written in Rust, using GHOSTDAG consensus, with an EVM-compatible execution layer (via revm). Standard EVM wallets (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) connect directly to the testnet, and Solidity tooling works out of the box. What I'm proud of right now: I've been hardening the GHOSTDAG engine itself — chasing down over/undercount bugs in the blue-set coloring, and most recently the performance side. Just landed a change that took the anticone bottleneck from effectively O(n³) down dramatically (200 vertices went from ~47s to near-instant, and the node now handles thousands of vertices in seconds), all while keeping consensus correctness bit-for-bit verified by a 2000-round fuzz test plus the full test suite. That "fast AND provably correct" balance is the whole point for me. How it stays sustainable: it's engineering-first, not hype-first. No presale, no token games — my rule is that any token step is the very last thing, only after mainnet + a real security audit + legal are all done. Until then the testnet token is free and worthless by design. Honest caveats: single developer, pre-audit, testnet. Multi-node maturation and a formal audit are still ahead. I'm building in the open and correcting course whenever the code tells me I'm wrong. Happy to answer anything technical — the consensus internals especially. 🙏
