Just to clarify, because I get the question all the time: I’m showing the Ukrainian flag in my profile to support and honor the brave people of Ukraine. On a daily basis, they put their lives on the line to defend our freedom. It is a matter of course to stand by Ukraine.

I live in Macao and have a border with China, what people have a hard time understanding is that for people in China the highest risk is when they criticize the central government for all the other stuff they can basically say whatever they want. Its still not total free speech but in a general day to day life they have actually more freedom of speech than in England right now.

@Halcruttenden It's arrests, not necessarily jail, but to call this claim a "lie" is a lie. Britain arrests more people a year for online comments than Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea combined. It's insane.

MAGA is Trump's personal movement. Neither Vance nor Rubio has their own political base. MAGA (which is a coalition of several groups—libertarians, evangelicals, protest voters, etc.) won't follow them. It's more likely that MAGA will splinter back into the groups I already mentioned. All these groups have very different goals, and only Trump can hold them together. The GOP itself is completely hollowed out and has no identity of its own left. So far, Trump has spent zero time or effort preparing a successor, and he won't spend any time on it in the future either. That's just not who he is.
