I think local developers should by law be required to "truth in advertising" re names. So no Canopy Homes. Instead you gotta use Clearcutter's Way, Bulldozed Oaks Glen, Slaughtered Box Turtles Apartments, Starved Fox Squirrels Planned Community, Blood Roadkill Drive, etc.

Today, in an old box, I found my first submission letter sent when I was 16.
I wrote @EllenDatlow , editor at Omni magazine. It didn’t work out then but she did edit The Ballad of Black Tom years later.
I love the earnestness of my 16 yr. old self. Took time, but he made it.
