Aikatsu Encore Updates

Ten years ago today, on May 18, 2016, the original Aikatsu! arcade cabinet had its final day of operation in Japan. This year marks the first time since then that the original cast will be playable again in a horizontal format. This was the final commercial for it #アイカツ

A first look at Soleil in the newly released Card Art for the trial run of Aikatsu Encore. Models look like an upgraded version of Aikatsu on Parade, with better symmetry. For now, these are only the card models, not the arcade. Differences may vary.

The event will be 100yen a play and you will be able to earn any cards from the prize pool. The cards are branded as part of the play test, which means they will be one of a kind when the arcade finally releases. We recommend not missing out if you’re in Japan.

Aikatsu Encore will be holding a play demo test from May 22nd to May 24th and May 29th to May 31st, the event is location based and will function in a first come first serve basis. See the attached tweet for more information on location and time!

all the news breaks about aikatsu encore has been echoing the same sentiment: the "aikatsu encore" broadcast is simply a rebroadcast of the original series, with a few new additions (such as new opening and ending songs)

@aikatsuencore not really? in the PV they say tv anime "aikatsu!" encore broadcast rather than tv anime "aikatsu encore! (the name of the new game)" broadcast. the intent's pretty clear.
