@nickyY2K printed to confuse kids is a stretch of an argument, too; I mean, just look at photos that were around/a little bit after MLK's time, like Vietnam War. Plenty of those photos are black/white, too... maybe it's to trick kids to think Vietnam happened ages ago, too!

@nickyY2K Most of the pictures during the Civil Rights Movement were still black/white. Colored photography was super expensive, and journalists were prob taking a lot --> makes sense to use black/white photos. Also the photo w/Ruby Bridges was recolored in dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4…
