By the way, the referee in that Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid match was pure class. The audacity, the aura, having control of the whole match, not letting anyone or the occasion intimidate him. He showed it from the start that he won’t be giving cheap fouls and stood by that rule till the final whistle. He knew players will try to get cheap fouls and he wasn’t taking it from the very start. Beyond the main reason for rotation, which is obviously physical rest, I think there’s another factor too. Ahead of a big clash like the one we have against Atlético, a lot of key players will already have that game on their minds. As a result, they might not be at their absolute best in the match before, not intentionally, but simply because their focus is already drifting toward the Metropolitano. On the other hand, the backup players who get their chance will approach this game very differently. They’ll give everything they have, playing like it’s a defining moment for their careers, because they know it’s a rare opportunity to prove themselves and earn a bigger role in the team.

I’m tired of the inconsistent double standards in how the rules are applied. Every other team seems to benefit from them except Barça. If the rules say it’s a penalty, and the same situation has been given before, then it should be a penalty here too. Use VAR correctly for once. The problem isn’t the technology, it’s the incompetent people in charge of it who keep getting these decisions wrong.

Since the Galaxy S20 series in 2020, Samsung has maintained a three-tier flagship structure: standard, Plus, and Ultra. This will now evolve into a four-tier lineup: standard, Plus, Pro, and Ultra. An industry insider familiar with the matter said, “Previously, Ultra was the only high-end model. Now Samsung plans to add a Pro, expanding the premium segment to two models. Specific details like display size are not finalized yet, but the general direction is clear: a high-end model without the S Pen, while sharing most of the Ultra’s technologies.” Another source added, “The ‘privacy display’ feature that generated strong reactions on the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to expand to two models in the next generation, and the newly added model will likely include it.” The last time Samsung added a new model to the Galaxy S lineup was two years ago, when it introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, emphasizing a thinner design. It was launched two months after the S25 series. Originally, the Edge was intended to replace the Plus model starting from the S26 series. However, due to market feedback, Samsung canceled that plan and returned to developing and releasing the Plus model. This time, the Galaxy S27 Pro is not a replacement, but an expansion of the lineup. Industry observers believe Samsung is aiming to strengthen its position by enhancing the competitiveness of its high-end models while offering more choices. The Pro model is expected to feature technologies that differentiate it from the standard and Plus variants. Google Messages doesn’t fit One UI. Samsung Messages matches the design language, backgrounds, fonts, the whole system feels consistent. That’s the difference: one feels integrated, the other feels imported. Even if Samsung Messages lacks some features, the answer is simple improve it, don’t replace it.

Despite it being only a few games, it was awesome to see Xavi Espart earn his debut and make an impact for the first team. That said, with Kounde and Balde back, and Eric García thoroughly rested, he'll very likely not receive any significant minutes after the international break. It's all understandable, but I hope Flick will at least keep him in the first team and give him some scrap minutes here and there in games they wrap up early. At this stage, the best way to manage his situation is to have him stay with the first team while letting him play in Barça Atlètic's matches. This will ensure he's completely comfortable with the senior squad's dynamics by the time preseason starts next season.
