Please don’t hate me for telling you this. I broke an MD-88 seat in flight. I raised the seat really high to distribute my weight across the bottom of my thighs. When I lowered it, the vertical lever (a big bar) snapped off in my hand. LOL. When I told the maintenance bubba what happened, I could see his heart explode. He said to me, “do you have any idea how long it takes to remove a seat in the airplane?” The company had to cancel the early morning flight. 😳

Let’s replace the captain’s seat on my favorite aircraft, yes it’s a TRIPLE 💺 👨‍✈️ Even though the seat is placardable, the flight crew has the right to refuse the aircraft if they don’t feel comfortable flying across the pond with an unserviceable seat. *All work IAW ✍️ Enjoy 🫡 With laxjettech
