@PeterSweden7 Still needs to pass in the Senate. If it does, it will be illegal to make public statements that vilifies or detests an identifiable group. Quoting the bible directly will likely be ok, but the chilling effect will make the edge cases irrelevant

@careblais @PeterSweden7 actually its' the shouting about killing everyone based on verses of violence that is made illegal. So they wont be able to do that anymore. There is nothing specific about Christianity in the bill. Bill C-9 It's basically codification of Jesus's commandment in Matt 5:22.
