I'm joining @SpaceX and @xai to build the best coding AI. For the last couple years I founded the most widely used coding agent for Android, scaling it to millions in revenue with a team of 3. I've watched model capabilities compound at a staggering rate and we're clearly on the brink of recursive superintelligence. This is the most important problem to solve in history and requires an immense amount of resources to realize. xAI is the place to build the future. I'm joining SpaceX and xAI, working closely with Elon and team to build superintelligence. Together SpaceX and xAI combine physical and digital intelligence under a leader who understands hardware at the deepest level. Add a high-agency culture with frontier-scale resources, and you get the possibility to achieve something truly unique. I’m excited to advance the fields I’ve obsessed over for years, from robotics research to building AI models on the founding teams of Mistral and TML. Both were extraordinary journeys with extraordinary people that shaped how I think about building intelligence from the ground up. Grateful for everything that brought me here and can’t wait to get started.

I left xAI earlier this week. It was a difficult decision. The past two years have been an intense, fun, and deeply rewarding journey, and I accomplished things I could not have imagined two years ago. Thank you @elonmusk for the opportunity and for everything I learned at xAI. Thank you @Guodzh for the trust you placed in me and for all the days and late nights we worked through together. And thank you to the entire Omni / Imagine team: thank you for your trust, and for growing together with me. It has been an honor, and I am incredibly proud of what we achieved together. I feel fortunate to have had the chance to work with all of you. At xAI, everything feels possible. I had the chance to work with and learn from some of the most exceptional people I have ever met. I was able to explore across domains: from pretraining to post-training, from language models to multimodal, from perception to generation. Joining xAI was one of the best decisions I have ever made. @grok imagine is special to me. Building video generation models, where I started with almost zero prior knowledge, from 0 to No.1, as an IC and as a lead, alongside an extraordinary team, and shipping it as a great product used by millions, all within 6 months, at age 28: I feel proud. But now it’s time for me to move on. I’m burnt out, and I know my happiness is no longer maximized in my current state. It is sad to say goodbye, but it is just the right time for a change. Best wishes to the Imagine team, you are absolutely the best, and you deserve the best. I will cherish all our memories for the rest of my life. I’m proud to be joining SpaceX and xAI with @milichab It has become clear that software is changing fundamentally. More and more, people can shape the tools they use directly, and the ceiling of what can be built keeps rising. What makes xAI special is the scale of its ambition: to build from first principles all the way out to the stars. I’m especially grateful to work on products that expand human agency and freedom. That mission is deeply personal to me. My family came to the United States fleeing communism, and the belief that freedom should be part of the next generation of the internet has driven me every day since Andrew and I started Skiff. Now, we get to work on intelligence, understanding, and freedom on a universal scale.

Martin was seen chasing down Kamau at the end of the race. “I made an actual move five miles out… when I saw no one else was picking up the pace. I decided I needed to push,” the 36-year-old said. “At a mile and a half to go, I could see the leader and with 800 meters to go, I was thinking, ‘I’m catching him.’” Martin finished the race with a time of 2 hours, 11 minutes, 16.50 seconds.

NEWS: Tesla's Robotaxi fleet safety in Austin, Texas reportedly improved by 2X between Dec 2025 and January 2026, with estimated miles per incident now at 417,000 miles, up from 208,000. @raines1220, who has a PhD in Computer Science, predicts Tesla's Robotaxi fleet in Austin will fully surpass human drivers by the end of Q1 2026. Earlier today, the NHTSA released its monthly incident report, which requires autonomous vehicle operators to report incidents.
