NASCAR should do what the MLB did with Roberto Clemente and elect Kyle Busch into the HOF immediately. I don’t think anyone would complain if he was an addition to this next class that was just announced

I’m a bit shell shocked at the moment.. Kyle was incredible to me and our progrum. A phenomenal hang, husband, father, and wheelman. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.. We love you @KyleBusch.. You done good. Rest easy, man.

This was from 2017-18ish- he wanted to run the double- we worked hard to help make it happen- we got close- even held #51 for him for years- if anyone could have won the double it was Kyle Busch- RIP KB 🙏

Kyle and I had a really challenging existence for many years. But we luckily took the time to figure out our differences and that was something he instigated with a conversation in his bus around how we each managed our racing teams. I was super eager for us to get on better terms. But it was he who made the effort for that to be possible. We did some media together also to laugh through some of the things we put each other through many years ago. Most recently we had even been discussing him running my Late Model at Wilkesboro this summer. He seemed extremely happy and we had planned to meet up next Thursday to get his seat to the shop. He laughed over the idea of his fans and JRM fans having to cheer in unison during that race. Kyle was one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. No one can deny that. But he was also a father, a husband, brother, son, and a friend to many. My heart is broken for the Busch family. I will never be able to make sense of this loss but I am thankful that we had found a way to become friends.

Statement from New Hampshire Motor Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath on the Sudden Death of Kyle Busch: “On behalf of our team at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, I’d like to extend our deepest condolences to Samantha, Brexton, Lennix and the entire Busch family. Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch was a fierce and tenacious competitor, earning 63 Cup Series wins during his illustrious 22 full-time seasons. Three of those wins came at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His incredible impact on the sport will live on for generations to come. Kyle will be missed immensely among New England race fans, and we mourn with the entire NASCAR community.”

Our hearts are broken for Samantha, Brexton, Lennix, and the entire Busch family. Kyle was a fierce competitor, an incredible teammate, and, far more importantly, a devoted husband, father, and son. His impact on our organization and on the sport of NASCAR will never be forgotten. During this unimaginable time, everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing and the Gibbs family are lifting the Busch family up in prayer.

Absolutely cannot comprehend this news. We just need to think of his family during this time. We love you KB.

Kevin Harvick says he was in a pickup out in the parking lot while waiting to see if he would become a NASCAR Hall of Famer. He felt it would've been "arrogant" to sit in the room and wanted to be respectful and not take it for granted. Even if Harvick somewhat expected the call to the Hall, he says it was still somewhat weird actually getting it given the nature of his racing career. "It's always been look forward, look forward, grind, grind grind, grind. And you never really stop and think to look around. ... To be amongst the best that have ever done it in our sport is pretty rewarding."

In 2000-01, Jeff Burton was instrumental in redesigning seats in NASCAR. They used to be thin metal without much support, but along with Jeff Gordon, Burton helped design the modern wrap-around seats with added right-side support, even personally paying $100,000 to test the seats Congratulations Jeff Burton
