I built this a few years ago and at a friend’s suggesting posting it again! #KFP bros please help @takanashikiara see this!
The Gundam KFP-001 KIARA, and the KOTORI Flight Unit! A fully painted customized version of the HG Penelope. #KFPicasso#hololive#holoen
@Snipe4hire@takanashikiara Yeah - Vault 13, the starting vault of Fallout 1 was pretty normal too, just had no extra water chips. As was Vault City in Fallout 2 from what I remember.
@takanashikiara IIRC there were at least a few "normal" kinda vaults, or at least ones where the experiments weren't so crazy. In Fallout 4, you wake up from a vault where all they did was out you in cryosleep and that was the experiment
Thank you for an amazing 5 years, Kiara & Calli!
Yall gave us so much love and laughter!
We love you, and we thank you for everything!

@stephfully Wild Arms 3 doesn't change the title screen itself - but it does change the ~1:30 opening animation fairly significantly as the pass important story beats and new characters are introduced.
@OficialMithin@fishin4l0ve Yeah you're probably right Mithin. Still fashions are often cyclical and older-seeming art styles, like Kiara's, are often a breath of fresh air compared to current trend-chasing styles.
Not that one is better than the other, but the important thing is to be confident about it.
@fishin4l0ve If you think with how she approaches things like even her music, he biggest fear is being left behind, "if things changed because time changes means you need to keep up to date, isn't it?" it's probably something like that a fear associated with the past, but it's how she is
Ames right Kiaras art has a very nostalgic feeling too it. Not "old" as in like out of date, but like it feels like being home again, like looking at her art feels like a warm blanket #kfp
@OficialMithin@of_eys I mean there are many of those too - a few I can think of off the top of my head are Timespinner, Graveyard Keeper, and a good chunk of Inti-Creates catalogue.
@of_eys Still tho, the 16-bit era is considered retro by this point a lot of people grew up with an SNES or a Genesis, and (personally) is the era where gaming figured out what games were, so I just find it so strange, you still see praise for some 16-bit games being the best of all time
I see a ton of great looking retro inspired games all the time, and I LOVE THEM, but... Why are they all based on 8-bit games? Or a mix with a bit more details but like I never see anyone trying to recreate the style of the 16-bit era, there are even more PS1-looklike ones
