@normanlamb When outcomes don’t change despite the right policies it’s typically because of underlying factors (culture, workload, lack of specialist skills, weak accountability/incentives). Without addressing these head on, change won’t happen or will be far too slow. We can do this!

A return to my old place of work this morning for a meeting with the Home Group on the Transforming Care programme I launched nearly 10 years ago. Still far too many autistic people and those with learning disabilities locked up inappropriately in institutions.
