Why do some people shout “Christ is King” while denying the very Kingdom the prophets described? “Christ is King.” Amen. He is. But many today use that phrase without understanding the Kingdom the prophets actually described. Some proclaim “Christ is King” while denying the very throne He was promised. Others use the phrase as a political slogan, a tribal badge, or even a cudgel against the Jewish people themselves. That should deeply trouble every Bible-believing Christian because the King they claim to honor is the Jewish Messiah, the Son of David, the One who will literally reign from Jerusalem. Scripture does not present Messiah’s Kingdom as a vague spiritual abstraction detached from Israel, Zion, Jerusalem, and the covenants. God made an unconditional covenant with David: “When your days are over… I will raise up your offspring to succeed you… and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.” 2 Samuel 7:12–13 That covenant was never revoked. Psalm 89 declares: “I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered.” Psalm 89:34 And the angel Gabriel told Miriam concerning Yeshua: “The Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David, and He will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever.” Luke 1:32–33 Notice the language carefully. ◦ David’s throne ◦ Jacob’s descendants ◦ A real Kingdom Not a replacement. Not an allegory. Not the Church becoming Israel. Yes, Messiah reigns now from Heaven in exaltation and authority. But Scripture also distinguishes His present heavenly session from His future earthly Davidic reign. Acts 3:21 says: “He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything as He promised long ago through His holy prophets.” Restore what? The prophets repeatedly describe: ◦ Israel restored (Ezekiel 36:24–28; Amos 9:14–15) ◦ Jerusalem exalted (Zechariah 8:3; Jeremiah 3:17) ◦ The nations streaming to Zion (Isaiah 2:2–3; Micah 4:1–2) ◦ Messiah reigning on Earth (Zechariah 14:9; Revelation 20:4) ◦ Universal peace under David’s greater Son (Isaiah 11:6–9; Psalm 72:7–11) Isaiah saw it: “Out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” Isaiah 2:3 Jeremiah declared: “At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the LORD, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem.” Jeremiah 3:17 Zechariah saw it: “The LORD will be king over the whole earth.” Zechariah 14:9 And concerning Messiah’s return: “On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem.” Zechariah 14:4 John saw it: “They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4 Even the disciples expected a literal restoration of the Kingdom to Israel after the resurrection: “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?” Acts 1:6 Yeshua did not correct their expectation of a future Kingdom. He corrected only the timing. This is why Replacement Theology is so dangerous. It empties prophecy of its plain meaning. ◦ Jerusalem becomes symbolic ◦ Zion becomes “the Church” ◦ Jacob becomes “generic believers” ◦ The land promises dissolve into abstractions Yet God repeatedly says the opposite. “The LORD will inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land.” Zechariah 2:12 “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew… and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’” Zechariah 8:23 Paul warns Gentile believers directly in Romans 11: “Do not boast over those branches… do not be arrogant, but tremble.” Romans 11:18, 20 And then comes the astonishing promise: “And so all Israel will be saved.” Romans 11:26 The modern obsession with flattening Israel into the Church often produces spiritual arrogance rather than humility before God’s covenants. Messianic Jewish scholar Arnold Fruchtenbaum has repeatedly emphasized the importance of maintaining the biblical distinction between Israel and the Church: “Israel is Israel and the Church is the Church.” Simple. Biblical. Necessary. He also warned: “If the promises to Israel are not fulfilled literally, then there is no basis for believing the promises to the Church will be fulfilled literally either.” That strikes at the heart of the issue. If God can redefine Israel, spiritualize Zion, dissolve the land covenant, and redirect David’s throne into symbolism, then covenant language itself loses objective meaning. But God does not speak carelessly. “The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29 Irrevocable means irrevocable. Sadly, some now weaponize “Christ is King” against Jews themselves. That is a tragic irony. The Jewish Messiah is not a weapon against the Jewish people. Yeshua came first as the suffering Messiah ben Yosef, pierced and rejected as Isaiah 53 foretold. But He will return as the reigning Messiah ben David. The prophets never separated those two portraits into two different Messiahs. They converge in one Person across two comings. And when He returns, He is not coming to abolish God’s promises to Jacob. He is coming to fulfill them. Zechariah says His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives. (Zechariah 14:4) Isaiah says the nations will stream to Jerusalem. Jeremiah says Jerusalem will become “The Throne of the LORD.” Revelation says Messiah will reign for a thousand years. The Kingdom is coming exactly as God declared. The King is Jewish. The covenants are irrevocable. Jerusalem is not symbolic. Zion is not replaced. And the throne of David still awaits its King. “The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.” Isaiah 9:7

@real_coffeen @el_yix @Mark_Wilson_25 What's the context of that verse? Who was Jesus talking to? When did He state that? Does it matter? I believe it does. There is a day coming when Jesus will descend from heaven and establish His earthly kingdom - the kingdom prophesied in the OT.

US intelligence has assessed that over 90 percent of Iran's coastal defense missile sites as well as 90 percent of its underground missile production and launch facilities remain operational. It also assesses that Iran was able to retain 75 percent of its mobile launchers and 70 percent of its ballistic and cruise missile launchers following nearly 40 days of massive US and Israeli air and missile strikes. There is reason to believe the main reason for its reduced capabilities is because of the huge numbers of missiles that Iran launched rather than from US strikes which proved much less effective than the White House would have us believe. US intelligence also reports that Iran retains 60 percent of its IRGC Navy ships, which still number in the thousands and two-thirds of its air force. Iran's control of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz has been virtually uncontested by the US Navy since the war began. Unlike Iran, China has the largest army, navy, coast guard, air force and nuclear capable ballistic missile and antiship missile arsenal in the world. Iran also boasts strategic nuclear superiority and theater regional nuclear and super-Electromagnetic Pulse supremacy over the US with far greater conventional electronic warfare capabilities than we have. If the US cannot defeat a secondary great power like Iran, what makes US leaders think we have a chance of defeating the world's most powerful conventional military superpower in a war over Taiwan in its own backyard in what would be an air and missile war like the Iran War but on a far grander scale?

@ajnthethird @Mark_Wilson_25 Jesus himself was very explicit in saying his Kingdom was not from this world. The Pharisees even had him killed because He rejected the political leader role they wanted him to take. Are you saying He was wrong and the prophets were right?

Friend, you’re asking why it matters, but the only reason it matters is because Jesus and John define the saints by New Covenant identity markers, not by the timing of their death. This isn’t about making anyone “special.” It’s about recognizing the people Jesus Himself describes: “They keep the commandments of God” “They hold the testimony of Jesus” “They overcome by the blood of the Lamb” That is the Church’s DNA. If those people aren’t the Body of Christ, then the term “Body of Christ” has lost all meaning. And no, I’m not saying “church = Israel.” I’m saying Jesus has one redeemed people, and the New Testament never creates a third category of believers who belong to Him but are somehow not His Church. Your question assumes the very distinction the text never makes. The issue isn’t: “Why would the Church experience tribulation?” The issue is: Why would the people who bear Jesus’ testimony, obey His commandments, and overcome by His blood not be His Church? That’s the category problem your system can’t resolve.

THE PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE AND THE WAR AGAINST THE SAINTS How the Identity of the Saints Refutes the Pre‑Tribulation Escape Doctrine I refute the pre‑tribulation rapture so heavily because its danger is not theoretical—it is fatal. False teachers are grooming multitudes for a collapse Jesus Himself warned of in Matthew 7, where many discover too late that their confidence was built on sand. My aim is not to win an argument but to pull souls back from a doctrine that leaves them unprepared for the hour of testing and exposed to the very deception Scripture says will sweep the unready away. Love demands confrontation when a teaching endangers the flock; silence would be complicity. The Name Heaven Gives to the Redeemed The New Testament does not hesitate. It does not stutter. It does not divide the people of God into dispensational compartments. It speaks with one voice, one vocabulary, one identity for the redeemed. Paul writes to Rome, Corinth, Ephesus, and Colosse, and he calls them all by the same name —saints. To Rome: the beloved of God, called to be saints To Corinth: the sanctified in Christ Jesus, called saints To Ephesus: the inheritance in the saints To Colosse: the saints and faithful brethren in Christ The word is not elastic. It is not seasonal. It is not redefined by the calendar of man. It is the covenant name for the redeemed. The saints are the Church. The Church is the saints. There is no other category. • Romans 1:7 • 1 Corinthians 1:2 • Ephesians 1:18 • Colossians 1:2 This is the Spirit’s own definition. The Saints in the Apocalypse John, carried into the Day of the Lord, sees the same people Paul addressed. He does not rename them. He does not create a new class of post‑rapture believers. He does not introduce a second flock. He sees saints—the same saints—standing in the fire of the final empire. “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them.” — Revelation 13:7 The Beast does not wage war against a hypothetical group. He wages war against the redeemed. John identifies them further: • They keep the commandments of God • They have the testimony of Jesus Christ • Their names are written in the Lamb’s book of life This is the Church. This is the remnant. This is the blood‑bought people of Christ. • Revelation 13:7 • Revelation 12:17 • Revelation 13:8 The text refuses to bend to modern systems. It stands in its own authority. The Tribulation of the Saints The pre‑tribulation doctrine requires a silent miracle: the word saints must suddenly mean something else in Revelation. But Scripture never performs that miracle. The saints suffer. The saints are overcome. The saints refuse the Beast. The saints are preserved in faith. The saints are vindicated at the appearing of Christ. The Great Tribulation is not the wrath of God poured on the Church. It is the wrath of Satan poured on the saints. The distinction is essential. • The wrath of God is never directed at the redeemed. • The wrath of the Dragon is always directed at the redeemed. The pre‑trib system confuses the two. The Prophetic Pattern of Suffering Before Glory From Abel to the prophets, from Christ to the apostles, from the early Church to the final generation, the pattern is unchanged: Suffering precedes glory. Witness precedes vindication. Tribulation precedes the Kingdom. Jesus Himself declared: “In the world ye shall have tribulation.” Not escape. Not exemption. Not evacuation. Tribulation. The saints have always been the battlefield of the ages. The final generation is no exception. The Forty‑Two Months and the Final Witness Revelation does not hide the timeline. It declares it openly: • Forty‑two months of Beast authority • 1,260 days of the remnant’s witness • Time, times, and half a time of the woman’s preservation These are not symbolic placeholders. They are the measured days of Daniel, the same days Christ referenced, the same days John saw. The saints are present. The saints are targeted. The saints are refined. The Beast is given power to overcome them—not to destroy their faith, but to test it, prove it, and reveal the remnant who will not bow. The Remnant and the Testimony of Jesus Revelation 12:17 identifies the final company with surgical clarity: “They keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” This is not Israel alone. This is not the Church alone. This is the covenant people of God in their fullness—Jew and Gentile, grafted into one olive tree, standing in the final hour. The Dragon’s rage is not random. It is targeted. It is judicial. It is prophetic. He makes war with the saints because the saints carry the testimony that seals his doom. The Collapse of the Pre‑Tribulation Doctrine The entire pre‑tribulation system rests on one fragile assumption: that the saints in Revelation are not the Church. But Scripture refuses to cooperate. The saints are the Church. The Church is the saints. The saints are present during the Beast’s reign. The saints overcome by the blood of the Lamb. The saints inherit the Kingdom at the appearing of Christ. The pre‑trib doctrine collapses under the weight of the very word it tries to avoid. The Hope of His Calling Paul prayed that the Church would know: “the hope of His calling, and the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.” This hope is not escape. It is resurrection. It is transformation. It is the appearing of Christ in glory. It is the vindication of the faithful. It is the Kingdom breaking in at the end of the age. The saints do not flee the battlefield. They finish the witness. The Numbering of the Church Age Hosea declared: “After two days will He revive us; in the third day He will raise us up.” Two prophetic days—two thousand years—forty Jubilees from the ministry of Christ beginning in AD 26. Not a date‑setting device, but a prophetic marker. A witness to the nearing completion of the Church age. The numbering of the Kingdom is almost complete. The handwriting is on the wall. The saints stand at the threshold of the final witness. The Final Word The saints are the Church. The Church is present in the Tribulation. The Beast wages war against the redeemed. The remnant overcomes by the blood of the Lamb. The Kingdom arrives at the appearing of Christ—not before. The wise will understand.

As a Christian, how would you explain this in The Bible? When Elisha prayed for the Syrian soldiers to be struck with blindness, do you think it was physical blindness or a form of spiritual/supernatural blindness? Let’s discuss.
