My Dad and his faithful dog Sheldon watching Comet A3 over the Curragh. The last time it graced our skies, 80,000 years ago, the Neanderthals walked among us. The next time it comes, we’ll all be specs of stardust ourselves.

I’m not a Christian but I admire Christians like Jimmy Carter who never had to mention that he was a Christian, you knew it by his actions. Franklin Graham on the other hand can’t stop talking about being a Christian because NOTHING he says or does would show us he’s a Christian.

Ever since I read His Promised Land 20 some years ago, I’ve thought Parker’s life would make a moving movie. Hollywood, get on it (and share the box office with the John P. Parker Historical Society)

Contrary to certain media coverage, there is no longer any serious controversy among social studies teachers about slavery’s central role as the cause of the Civil War. Virtually all teachers are teaching their students that the Civil War was about slavery.

Home #Covid Test 1. Pour a large glass of red wine and try to smell it. 2. If you can smell the wine then drink it & see if you can taste it. 3. If you can taste & smell it confirms you don't have Covid. Last night, I did the test 19 times and all were negative, thank God. Tonight I’m going to do the test again, because this morning I woke up with a headache & feel like I'm coming down with something. *Remember, you may get a false negative. Retest regularly.
