1. Nigeria has a bigger diaspora audience than any other African country. Meaning their music is going to be played a lot in the West
2. Nigeria has a unique sound, Afrobeats, something the Americans can't imitate. Unlike SA which pushes hip hop, which originates from the US. They should try to push amapiano
3. Nigerian artists are hungry, whilst SAns are content. The local Nigerian music market doesn't offer much compared to the SA local music market. So the Nigerians try harder
