@alojohhardcore @slamdust Case in point, I am really stupid (and I know it) but from following Aj for a long time now, I am much more aligned to his way of thinking - and it shows in the numbers.
Read his posts daily and over and over again, you will naturally shift to an AJ type mindset.

@alojohhardcore I've been in and out of this one (a few times) based on your flagging alone, and it has been great, thank you @alojohhardcore 🥰

Had an interesting discussion with investors on autonomous vehicles.
The consensus view: autonomous driving still feels like a solution in search of a problem.
Yes, anecdotal and a small sample - but the shared take was that most people like to drive. In many countries, traffic is chaotic and nobody follows lanes. Motorbikes dominate. App-based taxis already exist - yet car ownership persists, and many families own multiple cars.
Most people asked: why would anyone give up their car just because the taxi now drives itself or gets cheaper?
Cheaper transport already exists - buses, metros, tuk-tuks + auto rickshaws in developing nations - yet people who can afford cars buy them. And not always the cheapest ones, either.
Granted - AVs might be safer or more efficient, but the emotional and practical reasons for owning a car remain strong: freedom, control, status symbol, convenience and privacy.
And what about the millions of professional drivers who could lose their jobs?
This isn’t a post against Tesla (FWIW, I was a shareholder - mainly for Optimus). Just a view that perhaps adoption may depend less on technical feasibility and more on whether AVs truly solve a real-world problem or improve daily life.
Looks like AVs may gradually integrate into developed nations where traffic is more orderly, but full adoption will likely take years. In the developing world, it may be a much tougher sell. Interesting times ahead and as always, time will tell.
Key questions:
1) Will you give up your car if a robotaxi becomes cheaper?
2) Will autonomous vehicles be able to handle chaotic traffic in the developing world?
3) Do you think autonomous vehicles will operate seamlessly in your city?
Feedback welcome, leave your comment below.

@LouisWei8 @garyblack00 100%.
His income mostly comes from elderly abuse at this point.

This is how Gary Black's @garyblack00 Tesla community business model works:
He makes derogatory remarks about Tesla/Elon/Tesla investors >> this gets him MSM invite >> this gets him attention from the dumb/brainwashed people still watching MSM >> some poor souls follow him >> this grows his accounts/reach >> few poor souls buy his shitty ETF >> he makes money from charging fees on his shitty ETF >> cycle repeats.

@unusual_whales I read it's 2x as expensive to operate vs a normal (land-based) prison. What's the point?

@GerberKawasaki @MikeLongTerm I think it'll only take a few gory human driver accidents to start to turn sentiment and see a push to enforcement of driverless (with a majority for it).
Offroading may still happen, like a horse ride in the desert is a thing.
English

@MikeLongTerm I have a 12 year old. He plays beach buggy on the tesla and loves driving. All he wants to do is take the cybertruck offroad.

Multiple sources report Elon is leaving DOGE. Not clear whether they all use the same source. However, I think it's likely that Elon setup an effective DOGE team and his daily involvement is not necessary anymore. Also, DOGE's finding demonstrated that there are so many low hanging fruits that DOGE likely won't need Elon to cut fraud by $1T. Why? It's really not rocket science. Elon is overqualified is what it comes down to but this does not diminishing the work the DOGE team in any way.

The MSM (and its owners) language used against Tesla and Musk is inciting idiots (literally) to this type of insane action and it can lead to much worse.
Murder.
Exactly the same thing played out in Malta leading to an entitled dumbo having a journalist blown up. It shouldn’t be ok, to either side of the political spectrum, for the most logical of reasons.
