I might be late to the party, but why isn't anyone talking about @diabrowser? I've been using and loving it for three days now. I didn't even realize how bored I was with trying to create a useful space in Chrome.

How accurate is SensorTower because this can't be true, i tried the app and it's shit, they spend a lot on ads true( they live in turkey so np there)

@lorikmor They have an AI lab in a uni and ML engineers but for image generation models, I think most of their stack is from Google. There’s even an app in partnership with Google, I think the app was the first consumer app to integrate Nano Banana Pro when it released.

@akbayrakeren_ Do they host their own ai models because some results look like the open sourced models

@lorikmor The studio has more than 30 apps, it does have useful apps both in AI utility and in content based apps but yes, some apps are just out there relying on marketing and paywalls but the most of their products are agile and getting better everyday product wise.

@akbayrakeren_ So basically the churn is pretty high, the onboarding and paywall is the key. Because personally i have seen after the paywall the results are pretty bad AI wise

@lorikmor I find such apps similar to the childhood dream of asking for a dollar from everyone at school and collect $500 out of no where. Same thing here, this time you pay for the “asking” part, you ask the whole world instead and Tier 1 users are always keen on giving you that penny.

@lorikmor I actually worked for the studio that this metric belongs to last year. Such AI utility apps are never about what they have to offer. Once you take the user in, it depends solely on the paywall. And that’s pretty much what they do the best.

Derail is one of the best Chrome apps I've used. You can organize which sites to block and which not to block. You'll still get blocked if you're searching random stuff on Google or Youtube if Derail thinks you're outside the scope of productivity. And it's totally free. 10/10🙌
