Unpopular take maybe? But the idea that art made within one culture MUST be made accessible to every other group is absurd and anti-art.
I mean us Turkish speakers have even less translations than Hispanophones, yet I’ve never seen the equivalent of this meltdown in Turkey?

Of all the Toby Fox discourse, this is the one that really got me. This is truly the thing that defines the conflict. People who speak in native english are incapable of understanding what it's like to have most art NOT made for your native language. It's baffling to me.

@BlueComedia @Jaereku People seem to forget the time and effort translation takes. These people are doing a hell of a job FOR FREE out of love for the piece of media they’re translating. “Anti-Art” but translation itself is an art form and should be treated as such.
