Title IX has benefited women in some ways, but it obviously hasn't been enforced enough and to its full extent because there is still a higher number of male head coaches than female, even in women's teams. After so many years there should be more of a change. #UCR50 @KatryaLy

A diverse team from administrators, coaches, and student-athletes will play a positive role in their environment. Athletes go to university to join sports in which they decide it's best to major in something that isn't work heavy. Though, I empathize with the athletes who are unable to major in their preferred field because of sports, lack of academic support, and time. @KatryaLy #UCR50

Coaches seemed to be paid by popularity instead of their performance and contribution to help train their athletes. Coaches also should play a part in their education just as much. @KatryaLy #UCR50

I believe that coaches should be paid based on how well they perform on teaching their athletic students. The wages for intercollegiate coaches is unfair. Especially when the student aren’t gaining any positive feedback or education. Coaches only benefit. #ucr50 @KatryaLy

I see why sports/coaches are receiving higher pay as of revenue, plus how athletic oriented America is. Yet, there needs to be a way to distribute equal pay when it comes to college professors. They have just enough significance towards ALL students' education. @KatryaLy #UCR50

It’s interesting how schools require there to be an extensive amount of sports in one community in order for them to receive funding. You would think that with the already present money issues, school systems would make it easier to start and develop sports. #ucr50 @abhornUCRedu
