I know we all want to know all the details. Call it personal satisfaction to know we’ve plummeted them, or psychological warfare against enemy. But we are still in middle of a military operation. It’s not over yet. Maybe far from it. Hence there’s a reason why government gives a very sensible, calculated and minimal details - 1. Every details given DURING the operation helps the enemy. They understand us better. They can plan better. 2. Should never boast before war is over. Because you never know what happens Tom. Why land yourself with an egg on face? Wait to cross the line as winner and then celebrate. 3. Keep enemy guessing. It troubles them even more when we strike somewhere and still don’t declare it. Enemy is left confused - are they not done yet..will they attack again ? Etc etc. 4. This is war time information. Principles of warfare and strategy, proven across thousands of years, have shown that secrecy and surprise will always be your biggest strength. The more we speak, the more we tell. And the more enemy knows, the better he can prepare. While this gives space to media and social media to engage in misinformation and sensationalism, it still is a low price to pay for keeping your enemy guessing. So please have faith in government. Wait for official announcements. And even if you feel that so much is happening and gov isn’t announcing more, remember - your original source of information that you’re comparing is unverified and often dubious social media where click bait driven handles hungry for impressions are posting whatever they want to. Let’s wait for the operation to be over and I’m sure, we will have much more details, and reasons to celebrate. Jai Hind 🫡🇮🇳
