I wrote my just concluded project myself. @omoalhaja's ESG teachings inspired my topic. From the proposal to the data analysis, I handled everything. The corrections and deadlines were tough, but it was worth it.

There's a quiet pandemic in Nigerian higher institutions. Most students can no longer write their own final year projects. It has become normal for them to contract the work out and demand ridiculous "project writing" fees from their parents. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I wrote my BSc project myself, from the proposal, to data collection and analysis, to the results and discussion, everything, with limited online resources. Myself and my roommate even bought a printer to make work easier. With the number of accessible online resources in this age and time, I don’t see any reason why an undergraduate should contract their project out (except the data analysis part, which is understandable). Even AI is an helpful tool to guide you.
