The combat is really fun! Its very 2D zelda, but it feels less clunky. And the music is top tier!

I think somw people will be a little miffed at how the dialogue is very over the top noble/cheerful + the companion can be a bit chatty even if you lower their talk frequency, but as my last games have been XIV/XVI/E33 I'm loving the sweeter story lol

Back when I was talking about Rebirth I got jumped so hard by saying I thought they were gonna resolve the zack/aerith illusion thing in the LS I didnt talk about my thoughts on part 3 until I thought I was gonna loose my account bc of the elon vs brazil thing. the new discourse+

@akiriith @UmbralBunz @Actually_Tina I think Typhon was a bit of different case. It was failed prototype Mythos, so its safe to say it was more of a homunculus or one of Ultima's discarded bodies than it was an actual person

My favorite part of Game of Thrones was the giant Kaiju fights... That one interview where they said it took inspiration from GoT is the most annoying thing to me because the most GoT like FF is Tactics imo

FF16 was such a bait-and-switch. We all thought it was returning to classic FF roots with the more pure-medieval setting, until the game came out and it turned out to be a cynical attempt to cash in on Game of Thrones' popularity, but had come out long after GoT had shot itself in the foot and people had started to hate it. Still not the worst bait-and-switch the franchise ever pulled. That was FF7 Remake.

@FFVIImusic Yea I just cant afford that rn. I had even saved some money for a switch 2 but I was expecting around mid to high 3ks (switch 1 was 2.5-ish), not almost the same price as a full console lmao
