A good video script.
This is how I write scripts for my clients which gets them thousands of views per month as niche accounts:
1/ MIND HACKING
I hop on a 2 hour long call with all my clients before I start scripting videos
Here’s what we do in those 120mins
We laser focus directly on who we want the content to serve - mind hacking.
I ask my client questions like:
- what do they fear and never tell anybody
- what’s their day to day activities like?
- where do they stay geographically?
- who is your target audience?
- their favorite celebrity?
- their interests?
- their desires?
- why they want to achieve {certain outcome}?
And many more questions like these.
After you get 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 answers to these questions, everything you script out should relate back to those answers.
Without really nailing down on who you want to serve, you’ve ruined the foundation for your success.
Your hooks, strategy, killer scripts, leads generated will all SUCK if you fail to nail this down.
I cannot emphasize how important this step really is.
You want to create video scripts that gets the viewers wondering…
“How tf does he know me this well?”

2/ STRUCTURE
Imagine a tweet that starts with CTA as the hook and the body as the CTA
I will imagine such a tweet flop.
Same thing goes on with video scripts, it needs to be structured perfectly to reel down viewers to the end
Steal the script structure I use for my clients:
Hook → interest peak → body → CTA
I will not speak about hook, the body and CTA in this post
But, I will on “interest peak”
You’ve successfully captured attention with your HOOK
How do you get viewers to WANT to watch to the end of the video so the algorithm knows your video is a winner?
By using an interest peak.
3 interest peak angle I use for my clients:
→ Risk reversal (communicate to the viewers that what your about to show them won’t require [dreaded pain/effort] for them to achieve)
→ Authority building (communicate to viewers that you know what you are talking about and show them social proof)
→ You VS Them (assuming your videos talk about building personal brands. Instead of telling people to engage every day like every other personal brand growth guru, differentiate yourself and tell them they don’t need to engage to build a personal brand)
When they zig you zag.
It really is that simple.
There’s one last tactic…
3/ STORIES
Talking to people using scientific terms in your videos is a major turn off
Make your scripts as simple as possible to understand.
K.I.S.S - keep it stupid simple
Use stories and analogies to communicate your solution in the body of the script
Stick to delivering instant value and don’t beat around the bush
You’ve most likely heard it - “people’s attention span is lower than ever”
Instead of whining and complaining, use it to your advantage!
4/ ONE LAST THING
You better go start writing these scripts NOW, don’t complicate it.
The more scripts you write, the better you become at it.
