Engineering and pure math might look different on the surface, but the core is identical. Good convo with @thatdudeakshay. discussed: pure maths, clifford algebra, neuromorphic, reverse eng, auxillary func, geometric alg, linear alg,proof-based math, polynomials, vectors.

Just built ScoutIQ. An AI automation that can scrape thousands of businesses in one workflow and, for each one: • Analyze their online presence • Generate a personalized website preview • Write a tailored outreach email • Create a unique QR code that lets them instantly view their new website The goal wasn't to build another website builder. The goal was to automate the entire acquisition workflow from finding businesses that need help to showing them exactly what their new website could look like before the first conversation even happens. Still a long way to go, but seeing the whole pipeline work end-to-end is one of the coolest moments I've had building this. #buildinpublic #AI #Nextjs #SaaS #Automation

No matter the market condition the true value of the developer is the ability to provide the production grade applications no matter whatever the niche you follow, you should be able provide a value to the company and that is the only thing gets you hired except the market condition.

I have 10 years of notes about n-theories and higher structural specification. I have taken so long to publish my thesis because its just a tiny slice of these notes and I feel it doesn’t offer the window into my soul. The ai has 100% of my notes, I can finally traverse them.

Don't talk about optimization on here unless you're a real optimizer. Don't care why or how you're talking about it. Oh, I know optimization, I'm using muon optimizer for machine learning, or, I'm optimizing my company etc. Do you even know how to derive the fucking dual from a primal problem? No seriously let's get into it. Ever heard of complementary slackness? Lagrangian bounds? Convexity? This is baby's first linear optimization. Matter of fact tell me whether you're a minimizer or a maximizer RIGHT NOW or we're done here. Don't ever talk to me about the random or pattern search methods bullshit either. What's the symmetric-rank-1 update that satisfies the secant equation in the quasi newton method, answer me now. Can you find stationary points? Does this satisfy KKT conditions? Tell me about L-Lipschitz gradients. What's the matter, cat got your tongue? No worries man. Let's just find a different buzzword so we're not a poser anymore.

@VazeKshitij as an embedded engineer, i am pretty sure you have to deal with von neumann bottleneck. So, what's your take on neuromorphic archs? SNNs seems like a low power trigger. do you see any practical use case for them in embedded systems ?

So. Wanna peek into the life of an embedded engineer? I have to work on a graphics codebase, via an Embedded graphics designer/library/a bunch of other things called TouchGFX. I kinda did a dumbass thing by not integrating it with FreeRTOS from the jump, and choosing to keep it baremetal. Why? I had a time constraint, and I didn't know enough about FreeRTOS to confidently use it. So, I initialised a timer, passed it's tick interrupt as a heartbeat event to the graphics engine, and called it a day. Now, I gotta design the UI. Generate the backend code. Develop graphics application and transitions on top of said backend. Create bindings for the UI's C++ code to be able to pass data to the microcontroller's C codebase, a.k.a. the firmware. Integrate user inputs via a joystick (whole new level of hell) AND via touch. And finally, pass the data via a CAN bus to the main system control MCU. And if this shit doesn't sound exhausting enough - this is the HMI for a vehicle, and the whole operation kinda depends on this little bastard working perfectly. So.....no pressure at all!!!
