Finally the 1st Wrangler baby put all our birthing skills to the test last night but she’s here and out in the calving pen this morning 2 and 3 are here our 1st set of twins start our calving season

Sometimes it’s nice to look back at life I remember being 15 making a 10plus mile move with the no cab 4020 in the cold bundled up but somehow I enjoyed it I still do but now I got heat radio and a cab and I am 43

Had way too much fun doing some yard work. Hauling dirt and using my backhoe. Have a great guard dog but she’s a digger!

So proud of our son Bradley. After a long day of harvesting he gets up at 2:00 am to leave for Jasper to help get the power turned back on. when work calls he’s not afraid to get her done! Be safe out there

Ultimate April Fools Joke. Neighbor’s speckle park bull broke out for an hour last summer. SOB moved fast. Not impressed.

Our first contestant on “the snow’s just right”. After 12 in of heavy wet snow and 2 hours of bedding pens this heifer wants to calf and so the fun begins. Who’s next?

Lost a calf after 2 days 😞 it had intestinal issues nothing we could do, but mama gets a 2nd chance. Had a set of twins just after so the surrogacy training begins. Hope she takes it I really don’t want to bottle feed.

A 60km (40 mile) wind after more than a foot of snow makes it hard to get to the barn during calving. We cleaned it out with tractor or we might not get home

Nothing like calving in a snowstorm. Over a foot of snow and still falling. So a mid nite bedding run to keeps babes warm and dry. Hope cows wait til morning to calve.
