I joined the people of Akwa Ibom at the Easter Unity Concert yesterday, held at the International Christian Worship Centre, Uyo, where we gathered to worship and celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Easter reminds us that the resurrection is the restoration of hope. I encouraged our people to remain hopeful and believe in a better future, as we continue to build a United Akwa Ibom founded on peace, unity and shared purpose.
I appreciate the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) and all participants for their spirit of unity and contributions to the success of the concert. Together, we will continue to move our State forward. God bless Akwa Ibom State.

Drove around town yesterday with a friend and the amount of trash in Uyo is alarming.
Saw these at Nwaniba and I felt such shame.
We have a waste management agency, there’s ministry of environment too, yet we can’t seem to keep the city clean.

I paid a courtesy visit to the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, to strengthen collaboration between Akwa Ibom State and the Nigeria Police.

I commend the leadership of our great party, the APC in the South South, for the peaceful and successful conduct of the zonal congress.
The process was seamless and hitch-free, with officials emerging through a consensus arrangement that continues to promote unity across the region.

I have approved ₦2.5 billion for the procurement of over 620,000 oil palm seedlings for distribution to farmers across the State, as part of our Tree Crop Revolution programme under the ARISE Agenda.
This initiative will be supported by extension workers to ensure proper planting and maximum yield, as we continue to drive agricultural productivity and food security.
At the March Delivery Meeting, I also reviewed reports on key projects across sectors and urged contractors to expedite work to ensure timely delivery in line with specifications.
We remain committed to driving development across all sectors, with the continued support of stakeholders whose contributions strengthen our collective progress.
