Our universities should have a blend of old and young lecturers, some of the decisions to expel students on some natural acts of nature like sexual escapades are punitive and archaic. Expelling students for engaging in sexual activities is just ridiculous for horny university students!
@Maryian96 This was a mentally sick man, maladjusted and unable to cope.
Even if the wife asked for a divorce that could not be the end. Death is the end, a painful end that LEAVES those he loved like his wife and children WORSE OFF.
@Maryian96 This was a mentally ill man. Which man commits suicide because a side chick has gotten pregnant? Just make her an offer to be a second wife... take it or leave it.
As for the tapes reaching his Board, what is the WORST that could happen? May be sack. He could also resign!
I have just watched the NTV Murder Tapes segment by Brian Obuya on the death of Nick Imudia and I’m honestly shattered.
He jumped to his death from his 7th floor apartment,..stepping from a battle of emotion, financial and psychological blackmail,he never wanted to fight anymore 😔
He shared his password with his brother Geoffrey living in the USA,then plunged to his death.
This was not just another executive,..Nick Imudia was one of Africa’s brightest corporate minds.
He was Nigerian technology and business leader,..who built a remarkable career across telecommunications, e-commerce and digital transformation.
His academic credentials were stellar,.man with a Bachelor of Engineering from Finland and a Master’s degree from Denmark and an MBA in International Business Management.
He spent nearly two decades at Nokia rising through the ranks to oversee operations across West and Central Africa.
He later became CEO of Konga and eventually Group CEO of d.light, leading renewable energy expansion across Africa and Asia while based in Nairobi.
Nick had spent over 20 years building a name, a family, a legacy and a future.
Then everything slowly came crashing down.
As CEO of d.light, Nick allegedly began a relationship with his personal assistant Diana Kavesa after their professional relationship turned romantic.
According to the segment, Diana allegedly managed his schedule, booked hotels and hangout spots for them and reportedly recorded their intimate moments.
Everything was sweet and rosy, until she became pregnant.
Their relationship suddenly became toxic, messy and dangerous.
Diana started making demands that she delivered with threats.
She would pressure him to do stuff or else she sends his wife and board members clips of their intimate moments and messages.
Nick started living in constant panic and fear.. the very reputation he had spent decades building now allegedly sat in the hands of someone threatening to destroy..
To show Nick that she wasn't bluffing, she send him some of those clips.
Ninja was shaken to the core, the documentary paints a picture of a man who didn't want to hurt his family,... and was cornered emotionally, psychologically and financially.
He would then cave to her demands, not once, not twice, but several times..
Attempts were then made to quietly deal with their situationship by moving Diana to another department after her maternity leave.
But even that,..opened another chapter of negotiations and demands.
She wanted to be made HR business partner with an upward salary of KSH 200,000 from 115,000.
Then came the non disclosure agreement (NDA).
Nick wanted some legal binding that would prevent Diana from telling his wife about their affair.
She demanded for 50M
Nick said he could afford 5M.
They settled on 8.5M
Through their lawyers the agreement was signed and money paid plus Nick's pledge to support a child not yet born.
Nick thought he could now breath.
He was wrong!
Another figure entered the story,Melody Midewa,Diana's friend from Kakamega posing as a mediator.
She pretended to be understanding of Nick's situation, painting her friend's demands as ridiculous.
She then asked him to connect her to a better job juu she was earning only 50K
He promised to look for something for her in Uganda
Kidogo, kidogo she became impatient and started making her own demands
She accused Nick of sexual harassment and asked for 3M kukanyagia story.
Nick was shocked but agreed to pay her 700K.
He succumbed before msking that payment.
Some of the messages shown in the documentary are heartbreaking...
During his final days the messages he shared were depicting a man on the edge,...a man on the verge of giving up.
But the women continued with their torments.
His phone and computer kept blowing up with threats ,blackmails and demands from Diana;her mum and Melody.
In one of those messages he wrote;
“I do not understand what I got myself into in Kenya"
@SKanyeria@georgediano@EphraimNjega In a DEMOCRACY, we go to the Ballot to choose on political policy options.... And live with them until the NEXT ELECTION. Hiyo kelele yenu leteni kwa ballot on 10/08/27 from 6AM to 6PM. Halafu IEBC itahesabu kura whether YOU NOISEMAKERS ARE IN THE MAJORITY OR A LOUD MINORITY!
It’s clear that William Ruto still fears Uhuru Kenyatta. Every time Uhuru appears in public, Ruto sends his attack dogs to remind him that if he continues to stay active in politics, they will deny him his retirement benefits. The funny thing is, Uhuru has never responded directly to Ruto. He always put him together with kina Oscar Sudi and Farouk Kibet, then calls them Vinyangarika.
After moving around the country yesterday insulting him, today another bunch of his attack dogs will likely issue the same threats to Uhuru during church services. What they don't know is that Uhuru is not like Gachagua, the more you attack him they more the people of the mountain distance themselves with Kasongo.
@SKanyeria@georgediano@EphraimNjega We are NOT Begging you and we shall not be blackmailed by TRIBAL UNDERTONES couched as some psedo-economic logic. Shove your economic logic into your dirty arse hole!
@SKanyeria@georgediano WE ARE GOING TO IMPLEMENT OUR MANIFESTO. YOU CAN CRY, YOU CAN LAUGH, YOU CAN SHIT OR PEE ON YOURSELF IF YOU LIKE. KENYA IS A DEMOCRACY, WE GOT OUR MANDATE ON 09/08/2022. NYINYI NA WALE TRIBALISTS WENGINE LIKE @EphraimNjega WAIT FOR THE NEXT ELECTION, VOTE US OUT & DO YOURS THEN!
@Dec_lass_fied@ephraimnjegafan You are thick that despite me WRITING A WHOLE THESIS ON ADVERSE SELECTION AND LOSS RATIOS, hauelewi? Anyway probably that level of DEPTH is beyond your IQ. Ngojea tribal lord Gachagua akuelezee kwa lugha unaeza elewa!🤣
NHIF collected KSh 82 billion in 2023, while SHIF collected KSh 58 billion in 2025.
In 2023, NHIF paid out KSh 68 billion in benefits, representing a payout ratio of 83.2%. On its part, SHIF incurred KSh 92 billion in claims, representing a payout ratio of 159%.
@de_kabu@mutmuriithi@ephraimnjegafan Unafikiria sina akili kama wewe ndio niandikiwe? Am not like you who believes fairy tales. Truth is FUNDING VS BENEFITS MUST MATCH. So as your tribal god tells you, "... SHA ni mbaya..." Ukigonjeka enda kwake... Wachana na SHA.
@akunomd@ephraimnjegafan You are probably a greedy person benefitting directly from SHA hence insensitive of the cries of the people.
I don't need a debate with you. Just discuss what @ephraimnjegafan shared. Don't get into tangents
@akunomd@ephraimnjegafan@akunomd You are simply the propagandist here. You are giving us stale stuff about what SHA is supposed to be doing. We are discussing what is happening kwa ground, lived experiences under NHIF and under SHA.
@Ianquest3@ephraimnjegafan Penalties for missed or DELAYED contributions the way NHIF used to do. Juu Kenya kila mtu anapiga siasa na ni vichwa ngumu, just change the Law and solve the problem.
@Ianquest3@ephraimnjegafan Adverse selection especially among the Informal Sector Workers is the area that has the biggest headache. And the biggest promise once the Law is amended to: A. INTRODUCE A MANDATORY WAITING PERIOD between registering, paying and drawing benefits and B. Penalties
@OketchCastro@antokinyua@SALIMJUMAR@ephraimnjegafan Because neither the tribal chieftain Gachagua or the SLIPPERY KALONZO or the SLEEPY MATIANGI' and other wannabe s even the Bangi Smoking @edwinsifuna has any better solution or more money to FUND HEALTHCARE! Ni porojo tu wako nayo na kelele!
@OketchCastro@antokinyua@SALIMJUMAR@ephraimnjegafan How SHA is not settling bills. So you pay KES 6,000/= and want to CLAIM KES 100,000/= OR MORE! This is the moral hazard causing SHA to be perpetually UNDERFUNDED. Wacha Uchaguzi Uishe 2027, whether Ruto wins or Loses, THE LAW WILL BE CHANGED TO DEAL WITH ADVERSE SELECTION"
@antokinyua@SALIMJUMAR@ephraimnjegafan It is shit because you LIVE IN SOME UTOPIA WHERE YOU THINK HEALTHCARE WILL EVER BE FREE! Dream on with you shit brain! Accept reality, for SHA to deliver, FUNDING FOR IT has to massively increase. Yet taxes have peaked. So, MORE USER LEVIES & TIGHTER ACCESS RULES WILL COME! #shit
@SALIMJUMAR@akunomd@ephraimnjegafan I wonder which Kenya this guy is living in. This long thread doesn't mean shit. The lived experience of most Kenyans is that SHA isn't working for majority of contributors
@WaruiNjiru@ephraimnjegafan You will pay more... wacha Uchaguzi uishe in 2027. Whether Ruto wins or loses, TAXES ARE NOT enough so, a tightening of the SHA FRAMEWORK TO LOCK IN MORE FUNDS AND TIGHTEN ACCESS RULES will come in.
@akunomd@ephraimnjegafan Just because people put flowery concepts in policy designs does npt mean shit.PHCF & ECICD funding are a big joke! You can't provide relief to a decent number of Kenyans with such pathetic funding.
@ephraimnjegafan@DavidNdii H. (2): Introduce FINANCIAL PENALTIES for irregular/ inconsistent contributions.
The waiting periods and penalties for IRREGULAR/ INCONSISTENT contributions will enhance COMPLIANCE AS THEY DID UNDER NHIF. I consider the period 2024 to 2027 as SHA PILOT PHASES...
@ephraimnjegafan@DavidNdii H. The next PARLIAMENT has to tighten the Law anchoring SHA TO DEAL WITH ADVERSE SELECTION WHICH IS WHAT IS KILLING SHA! How?
1. Introduce a MANDATORY WAITING PERIOD of upto 1 year between registering, contributing consistently BEFORE DRAWING BENEFITS... this is standard.
