Al-Bara’em (in English: The Blooms) were Palestine’s first original rock n roll band, active from 1966 - 1975.

In the 60s, Al-Bara'em was Palestine's first original rock band and the first Palestinian rock band to feature women on stage. DJ @larrymizelljr's Song of the Day (re)discovery is the band's early '80s track "Ishraq," which features a gospel choir. Listen: bit.ly/3gpi8lb
