Shocking. I'd say "What is wrong with this man?" but we'd be here all day compiling the list. Mocking the religious beliefs of anyone is wrong but we're way beyond self-parody when you claim to be a Christian and then post this.

The swallows arrived home this morning! Best news of all and always brings a tear to my eye. They’re busy checking out their nests in the porch.

How it started - how it's going. Yuri Gagarin was the first, 65 years ago today. Artemis 2 crew, safely back from the Moon this week. I salute the bravery, and marvel at what we can do. We've only just begun.

It's easy to pass them by, the tiny scenes that are so unassuming. A quick glance, maybe a half-smile, and we carry on, the bigger views calling. Yet when you really take the time to stop and notice and see, there's so much beauty in the little details. Maybe it's just a rickety gate in an old stone wall, the sun shining on brand new leaves and dewdrops sparkling in the grass, but there's light and promise and work and care in every element. These small moments often delay me, and I'm always very glad that they do. 📍 Peak District, England

A very special visitor came to Ames — the designer of the Artemis II Moon mascot, “Rise.” We welcomed Lucas Ye and his family, who joined us as we watched the Artemis II crew return back to Earth after successfully flying around the Moon. His zero gravity indicator was selected from thousands of submissions from over 50 countries. His design was inspired by the iconic Earthrise moment from the Apollo 8 mission. Congratulations again to Lucas!

@TheresaLubowitz I was supposed to leave Rise in Integrity….but that was not something I was going to do. I stuffed that little guy in a dry bag we had in our survival kit and hooked the bag onto my pressure suit.

It's very moving to me that Commander Reid Wiseman, the last of the #ArtemisII astronauts to exit Integrity, made sure to bring the plushie Rise - and the 5 million names it carries - back with him immediately upon landing. Every one of those names completed the mission with him.

PS- it’s hard not to love this little guy. I cant let Rise out of my sight…currently tethered to my water bottle.

What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.
