Not fully. I think it's fair for Terry to say that the coaches had Keon rated higher than Beane and that impacted when they drafted him and the fact that they drafted him.

Terry said the coaches wanted him, Brandon later said it was his pick. Yes, it was his pick, but that doesn’t necessarily indicate he wanted him that early

I watched Sean McDermott’s full press conference this morning, and these two quotes stood out to me… And they both occurred within the first 5 minutes. 🔴 On CB Maxwell Hairston getting injured: “With our situation and the way it was, we have, normally, four corners on the roster. About a month and a half ago, it went down to three…” 🔴 On his first impression of the Jaguars: “I thought one of the moves that’s made a difference for them offensively was adding Jakobi Meyers… good pickup for ‘em. Probably a guy that, quite honestly, has been undervalued in his career.” 🔹McDermott also said that Hairston, the corner who was going to be partly responsible for covering Meyers, is “unlikely” to play this week. So if you read between the lines and put two and two together, McDermott took not one but two subtle shots at GM Brandon Beane because ironically enough, these two situations/positions will now directly affect each other on Sunday as the Bills currently do not have a healthy CB3 or 4 on their roster to help defend Meyers and the Jags’ passing attack. And McDermott’s concern makes sense, especially considering his frustration over the Darius Slay/Ja’Marcus Ingram situation a few weeks ago. #BillsMafia
