Governments won’t mandate digital IDs, instead they will outsource it to private companies that will demand it if you wish to use their services. They will use the back door and before you know it, you will be in the system. Only mass boycotting will save us.

@BladeoftheS I am retired, I am not complaining, but I get my pension which is not enough so I get pension credit, but still not enough for my rent so I get h benefit to top it up. Also I am disabled and so have additional costs so get pip. All in I am fine but what a mess, so much admin!

If you got rid of NI, Capital Gains tax, Dividends tax, Corporation Tax and Income Tax. Then replaced it all with a single Income Tax which taxed them all equally it would raise £200-250bn a year. That is just taxing the rich at the same rate as you.
