The yearly swap out of the South Rockall Trough Deep-sea Mooring was successful on the #CE25007 survey. Another year of ADCP and CTD data will be available to add to this existing dataset!

We’re enjoying the rare days of sunshine on deck during the #CE25007 survey and gave a short intro to @MarineInst M6 #IMDBON buoy to 3 students on board. Doreen will use data from M6 & South Rockall Mooring for her MSc project Zdenek, our technician, shows them the CTD in hull.

Not sure I’d fancy a ferry tonight! M3 Buoy has recorded a wave over 14m off the Southwest coast now and strong gusts forecast tonight into Monday morning for Irish Sea and Celtic Sea.

Over 12 hours, #StormEowyn left visible damage and destruction. Thanks to the Irish Marine Data Buoy Observation Network we can see what it was like out on the open seas. M4 off the coast of Donegal waves of 18.75m, with M3 off the SW waves of 15.98m bit.ly/4jvxcfS

@WeatherRadar_UK Are ye soft in the head ??? That's a completely useless reading and, worse, an extremely ill-advised and dangerous stunt to pull.
