@BaseLineWoo@kosmic7_bbobbo OMG - I’m dying here 🤣🤣
“Bodies start talking back whether you like it or not.” …..my friend, wait until you’re way past the 30’s and your body has gone thru the screaming at you stage, and now it’s in the laughing at you stage.
Yoongi clearly knows his own body and what he wants to do with it.
Unlike randos on the timeline dramatically zooming into every stretch and grimace like they’ve suddenly become sports medicine specialists, he actually has an entire professional support team around him. These people travel with them, monitor them, work with them during tour schedules, and help keep them in peak physical and mental condition.
Some of you are acting like the man is fragile because his body hurts sometimes. Dude dances, sings, rehearses, travels, works out, and performs 2.5 hour concerts for a living. Of course shit hurts sometimes. He’s human. He’s in his 30s. Bodies start talking back whether you like it or not.
And let’s be serious for a second. He basically told you, without telling you, that dead smack in the middle of a concert tour he wanted to do a marathon, so he woke up at ass o’clock in the morning, prepared for it, ran 12km, then went straight into concert schedule and still delivered an absolutely insane performance at Stanford.
He’s fine.
If he wants to push his limits here and there, that is fully his choice as a grown adult who knows himself far better than any of us do.
Some of you think this behaviour is “care,” but a lot of it just comes across as weirdly infantilising. You do not need to coddle fully grown adults every time they stretch their back or roll their shoulders.
Some of y’all genuinely need to sit down, unclench, and maybe cut back on the coffee a little.
Today we celebrate my husband's 60th birthday! Because he loves us, he joined us in the rabbit hole of BTS and is all-in as ARMY. He's a good man and we love him bunches. Photos are from the 3 BTS concerts he's been to- PTD, Tampa and El Paso. #ARMYDAD
@Miss_Mochi_72 Didn’t they say they worked on 100 songs in LA? There has to be a few that didn’t feel right for Arirang but are perfect for something else!
This morning: already late, rushing to the hospital to visit my mum, throwing myself into an Uber like a woman whose life is being held together by panic and streaming obligations.
I slide into the back seat. Phone in hand. Stationhead on with Megrokosmos25.
Earbuds in…..Silence.
I tap them….. Nothing.
I reconnect them….. Nothing..
I raise the volume like that’s somehow a solution invented by geniuses.🙄
Still nothing.
At this point I’m muttering full Shakespearean distress in the back seat while the driver keeps looking at me in the mirror like he’s wondering whether I need help or an exorcism.
He finally goes: “Madame… are you okay?”
And I’m like: “Yes yes absolutely.”
With all the conviction of a liar in a disaster movie.
Then I notice it and realize….
No.29.
That evil little track that always sounds like your device has died, your stream has collapsed and society has ended.
Fine.Great.😇 Mystery solved.
I barely have time to process this before the next song starts at MAX volume blasting directly into my skull at satanic volume.
I SCREAM. The driver JUMPS.
I jump because HE jumped.
The car briefly becomes a shared haunted house.
He turns around and looks at me with that very specific expression people use when they’re trying to stay professional through something deeply bizarre.
I try to explain. But explain what exactly?
“So sorry, I’m not unstable, it’s just a gong.”
Which, in fairness, is exactly what an unstable person would say.
A GONG.
In an Uber. To a stranger. As a full explanation.
Brother was driving faster after that and honestly? Fair.
Sir. Thank you.
For your professionalism during what was clearly the least relaxing Uber ride of your week.
Anyway No.29 nearly got me medically evaluated in the back of a car.
Stream on Stationhead with Megrokosmos25.
Just maybe not with this much theatre.
Walking home from work in a terrible mood after office drama, in a random suburb, wearing a denim jacket with J-Hope on the back.
A man taps my shoulder.
Him: “Excuse me… are you a BTS fan?”
I looked at him suspicious because this man was easily like 6 feet tall and in my head I was immediately like:
I don’t care how tall you are and built like a wardrobe, if you’re about to disrespect BTS and make fun of me, I will have to bite you in broad daylight and send you into the La Seine.
So I go:“…yes? why?”
Then he goes:“Do you know where I can get tickets?”
I just stared at him.Because suddenly the energy shifted.
So I ask:“For you?”
He says yes.
I ask:“You’re a fan?”
He says:“Yes, since the new album.”
Sir?! This is an insane thing to say in a suburban street with cars passing!
Then he starts softly fangirling about the album, how insane the show looks on IG and how much he wants to go.
So now I’m standing on a random sidewalk giving a full BTS briefing to a man I was mentally preparing to body slam 30 seconds earlier.
Suddenly I’m not suspicious anymore. I’m just a weary ARMY auntie calmly directing this 6ft newborn ARMY to BTS Ticket Helper..
Anyway I thought I was about to defend BTS honor.
Turns out I was just helping a giant fanboy.😇💜
HOLD ON.
I’m just finding out that the marathon yoongi joined some people were running NUDE??? As in buck ass naked like the day they were born nude? As in free willy free the kitty nude?
😭😭😭 HUH?! HELP
I have my LV plan.
This sweater.
This cake.
And then proposal to Jin.
Everyone. I think this might work. It really might work.
You’re all invited to the wedding.
Happy Birthday to Me! 59th trip around the sun. I never take pics but I'm at that point of what the heck! Thank you BTS and ARMY for filling my soul with sound and friendship. 🥳🎈🎉🎁🎂💜
I was sitting here thinking wow everybody got busy at the exact same time?
No.
Turns out I apparently can’t see all my moots and may also be restricted.😭
Checked one tool: “status uncertain”
Checked another: “minor warning.”
Excellent. Love that for me.
Very reassuring. Very haunted energy.
Moots roll call please.
Where are my people.
Help 😭
@lisaSUGAfocus@ohmegoodness25 You were so kind! That little girl will remember that forever. You also quietly taught her about kindness and grace. Thank you for showing them exactly what ARMY stands for 🫂💜
Last night I met a mom and her 6 year old. It was their first BTS concert. The little girl couldn't wait to sing Butter with BTS. I noticed the girl didn't have an ARMY bomb so I offered to let her hold mine during the concert+
