Because CLK/CMD point is a 42 ohm pull-up resistor to 1.2v. When modchip use this line, it pull this line to ground. If ground resistance is too high, modchip can't fight that 42 ohm resistor and won't work. Not sure what to do with this, I can document it but will people read?

Looking back, I found that BadWDSD is a very strange modchip. Because unlike other, resistance of modchip to ground is very important to its success rate. Something most people did not care.

Superslim emmc seems so rare to find for me. It seems to be EU only. I actually have lot of them but all is destroyed by now. All testbench board are emmc. But I use it as bga practice because I didn't predict modchip back then. Very lame

Just decided to resume BadWDSD/qCFW work. This time I ordered RP2040-Zero as well. I actually did add support for it long ago but I don't actually have one. It's tested by other people. I heard that builtin led don't work so maybe I can try fix it.

well, it seems that the bd-jb "exploit" for the ps5 isn't actually feasible on the ps5, only on the ps4, so forget about any april 2026 releases, because it won't happen. you'll only have lua and mast1core, nothing else. perhaps with a little bit of luck we'll have vue as well
