🚨FUNDRAISING UPDATE🚨 THE FINAL TOTAL for last Wednesday's Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper is in, and together with the help of @albertadepot, we raised $2,919,474 for the @redcrosscanada! Truly unbelievable!❤️

The #albertadayofcaring has proven once again that Albertans are resilient, generous, kind, and stronger together. We are all proud to be in this province and in an industry that’s helping to show just how beautiful Alberta is. ❤️

To everyone who donated, shared, rallied your friends and businesses, volunteered your time at collection sites, worked extra hard (and sometimes late) at Depots: THANK YOU! Every bit has added up to something really special.

What a weekend it was! Donations continued to come in through the efforts of radio stations Depots around the province, adding up to an outstanding result. Over $2.9 million is headed towards assisting our neighbours in Jasper, the Little Red River Cree Nation, and beyond.

If you’re wondering when your local Depot is open this long weekend, head to FindaDepot.ca for hours and contact information. Check with your local Depot about the #albertadayofcaring bottle drive. Have a safe weekend!

Radio broadcasters around the province, community groups, other charities, and all kinds of supporters showed up in such a huge way today. We can't thank you enough. Couldn't stop by today? Depots will be taking donations into the weekend.

Wow!! THANK YOU, Alberta and beyond! We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the support for the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper fundraiser. Many Depots are still counting containers to add to this total, but over a HALF MILLION dollars has been raised!

All of this is for Jasper. Keep in mind that this is just ONE location. The staff have been counting since they opened. Bottle Depots across Alberta have teamed up with radio stations ACROSS Alberta to encourage listeners to donate their cans. This is incredible.

Today is the Alberta Day of Caring for Jasper. Radio stations and groups right across Alberta will be coming together to collect donations to support those impacted by wildfires. There are many ways to donate! The Beverage Container Management Board will also be opening their 221 depots across the province to help in any way they can. The Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta will match every dollar donated by Canadians to the Canadian Red Cross 2024 Alberta Fires Appeal. This means that every $1 donated will become $3 to support those affected by the wildfires.
