I’ve been following @BlackBerry $BB for a long time, and I swear they must have a default script that always starts with something like this: QNX is in 275M cars, QNX is used by 10/10 OEMs, 24/25 EV makers, and all 7 G7 countries for secure communications, etc.
If you are a $BB customer or a $BB retail investor, you already know this. When the same script is repeated every time, it gets boring and doesn’t attract new customers or new retail investors.
BlackBerry already owns the automotive and secure communications markets. They work with all the OEMs, 24/25 EV makers, and all G7 governments so why keep repeating the same message over and over? You’re not selling anything new to existing customers or retail investors.
I believe @BlackBerry and @QNX_News need to flip the script and adopt an 80/20 approach: 80% of communications should focus on GEM, and 20% on automotive and secure communications, since they already own that space.
Also, as @john_giamatteo would say "lean in" into current trends. AI is hot right now why not talk about how QNX is leveraging AI to make decisions at the edge? Or how QNX is enabling autonomous driving? What about QNX powering physical AI in collaboration with GEM customers?
Talking more about GEM and showcasing compelling demos would help drive customer acquisition and would definitely attract more retail investors to the stock.

@BlackberryNews @BlackBerry I listened to the CES presentation and JG sounded like he was winging it, which is completely unacceptable after the sharp drop in the stock after Q3 earnings. They should have told us they've increased stock buyback and are snatching up every share of possible.

$bb What’s BlackBerrys moat ? Reality is there are not that many software. companies with this kind of moat undervalued at this level. Qnx is the only real time secure OS platform currently available in the market that’s integrated to every silicon vendor including $nvda , $amd, $qcom , $ intc . They are integrated into all clouds for backend , they enable cloud development and simulation (heard the term digital twin in context of $nvda or $pltr ) there by cutting development time needed.Their dominance is in auto currently , but expanding into other verticals like medical , robotics , industrial etc . Secure communications(currently in use by pretty much every three letter agency , nato and several nations. These are some of #BlackBerry ‘s moats. Deep and wide. Company was not profitable , but that has changed recently with the unprofitable division being sold. Saying Blackberry has no moat at edge is like saying Palantir is a consulting company and has no moat two years back .

Here is the problem with $TSLA right now. Even IF Sam doesn't want to sell or IF Elon ups the bid price, the fact Elon is out there thinking about $90B deals is an overhang to the stock. The fact he is itching again to buy something means pressure on the stock will continue. To what extent of damage we don't know but these sizable amounts are VERY concerning.

On the other hand. Watched a Waymo deal with very hard traffic in Brentwood crazy driving and handled it perfectly. These waymos are everywhere working it hard. Tesla is well behind waymo technology, at this point. $goog $tsla
