Lizzy Rain explains why she never thought she'd make it to WWE after starting out as a wrestler in the UK at age 23: "You know when you’re a kid and you ask your mum, ‘Mum I want to be an astronaut. That’s what it was like, ‘Mum, I want to be a wrestler.’ And they’re like, “yeah, sweetheart, try another thing.’ It just feels so farfetched, especially being from the UK it just felt like such a farfetched journey. "Why would I ever got to the WWE? I’m from London, I’m not in America. I thought there was so many things going against me that I didn’t really have a look in. I started a bit older, I’m not a kid who started wrestling at 16, I started at 23. "Just all these things stacked against you. I thought I’ll do the indies, I’ll try and get there obviously that’s what I’ve worked for whilst I’ve been an indie wrestler. "It just feels like dream job, it obviously is a dream job and only less than one percent of people get to achieve their dream job." (Busted Open After Dark)
