@dragonmantank Tomorrow night you can do video games based off of movies. I would suggest E.T. and Top Gun they are way more fun than Goldeneye

I’m a sucker for video game movies. Started off tonight with Street Fighter, then Super Mario Bros (1993), just finished the original Mortal Kombat, and last but not least starting good old Double Dragon.

@adamwathan I write code and modules so they can easily be removed later, that tends to keep the changing stuff together. Bounded contexts from DDD have influenced those choices. Same can be said for the immutable parts and frequent changing parts of business model programmed differently.

Fantasizing about how much better software would be if co-locating code that changes together was emphasized as much as “separation of concerns” in all of the books you read in your junior years.

@grmpyprogrammer The are both readable. But first requires you to think and reason about the intent. The second one encapsulates that and is easier to read in my opinion

I automated a light in the living, it was sweet to get it to work. I then got it set up to use Google Home. Now my Shark robot vacuum is voice controlled. I AM A GOD.

@grmpyprogrammer Congrats! I loved my Model 3 until it got totaled (but kept everyone safe onboard). Will buy another one some day.
