The fact that Florida thought the country would be on their side is interesting. I don’t think many actually care who won, but a team can’t “accidentally” hit the same batter five times and not expect blowback from even the most casual of fans. Also, the announcer clearly stated that Florida didn’t line up. This was a bad weekend for Florida anyway one looks at it or tries to explain it away.

Ive now had 3 former Major League Baseball players that are friends of our family tell me a few nuggets regarding my son and his baseball endeavors: 1. Stop with “lessons”. “Stop letting coaches validate themselves by finding something to change.” 2. Let him hit, hit, hit. 3. Stop hitting off machines. They aren’t realistic. Tee, flips, BP. That’s it. 4. Let the athlete be an athlete.

@tommyjr2433 @gatorsszn I care less by the day. Tech was better than 🐊 (my alumnus). Collegiate athletes landscape (recruiting, competing) has changed, a completely different game. It doesn’t care about how I, you, or any of us feel. A little part of us dies watching teams bought vs. built.

@jessemyates @MLBNetwork No, Bonds said he played catch with the barrel, instead of a glove. Meaning the bottom hand will go to the ball, the top hand is barrel control. None were better at snapping the barrel thru the ball ( just below center line) than Bonds.

Well this is a little outdated. I know when I played pro ball machines weren’t used that often (1999-2002). My son plays w the Reds org and they hit off machines daily. 105 mph, spin, sink, etc. They use the Traject machine as often as possible as well. Tough to simulate today’s MLB arms w flips and coach BP😂
