This is Edward. He was given 6 months to live after being found as a stray. His family was determined to give him the best few months possible, so they introduced him to the ice cream truck. That was 27 months ago. 14/10 #SeniorPupSaturday

U2 is one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history. It was formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1976.
They were originally called Feedback and then The Hype before adopting their final name, U2.
Their four founding members have remained the same since the beginning: Bono (Paul David Hewson) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, The Edge (David Howell Evans) on lead guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals, Adam Clayton on bass, and Larry Mullen Jr. on drums.
They began with post-punk and new wave influences but evolved into an epic, alternative rock style with strong social and spiritual themes. They are known for their stadium anthems, profound lyrics, and spectacular live performances.
Among their most important albums are 1987’s The Joshua Tree, their most iconic album, 1991’s Achtung Baby, 2000’s All That You Can’t Leave Behind, and 2004’s How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
They have sold over 170 million albums worldwide, won 22 Grammy Awards, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005. Some of their most iconic songs include “With or Without You,” “One,” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” “Sunday Bloody Sunday,” “Beautiful Day,” and “Vertigo.”
U2 remains active after nearly 50 years in the business, with Bono and The Edge as the primary songwriters.

IT’S LIKE GOD ENTERS THE BUILDING
Bono: “We can be in the middle of the worst gig in our lives, but when we go into that song, everything changes. The audience is on its feet, singing along with every word. It’s like God suddenly walks through the room.”

MAGNIFICENT
“From the womb my first cry, it was a joyful noise”
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:13-14 NIV
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” Psalm 98:4 KJV
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” Psalm 100:1-2 KJV
Bono declaring that even his very first cry was worship — formed in secret, born to magnify. Echoing the psalmist’s awe at being knit together and the command to fill the earth with “a joyful noise.”
